As the 2019 legislative session fast approaches its end, the New Year’s Resolution signed by 36 Massachussetts Senators to pass bold climate legislation in 2019 remains unfulfilled. We need to encourage both our senators and representatives to equitably accelerate our transition to 100% renewable energy, increase green investment in our communities, and codify our commitment to environmental justice. That’s why next week we’ve organized a series of actions to call on our leaders in the statehouse to pass bold and progressive climate policy this legislative session.

We will be culminating in a lobby day on November 14th <[link removed]>, where we will support Senator Pacheco, a climate champion, as he calls on his fellow senators to act and pass the climate policy we need before 2019 ends. Leading up to this, we will be building momentum by collectively emailing and calling our legislators, as well as blasting social media to spread the word. 



The timeline of events and resources that make getting involved simple and quick are below. It’s going to take all of us to make a difference - here’s how you can help:

November 11 - Email your representatives

Use this link to email your representatives about our climate legislation priorities in seconds. <[link removed]> Share it with as many people as possible to amplify our collective message. 

November 12 - Call your representatives

Take a few minutes to call your representatives using this simple script. <[link removed]> Again, spread the word so we can make the biggest impact possible.

If you can make it, join Mothers Out Front, Mass Power Forward, and other allies at the State House to support the FUTURE Act and the Pipeline Expansion Bill that are being heard Telecommunications, Utility, Energy Committee in the Gardener Auditorium at 1PM.

November 13 - Social media blasts

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram - whatever platforms you’re on, you can reach people and promote the November 14th Lobby Day. Tweet about our legislative priorities and why you’re in support of them! Be sure to tag @350Mass in your tweets so that we can amplify your message.
