My name is Anette Taddeo. I’m a small business owner, and the first Latina Democrat to ever serve in Florida’s State Senate. I don’t know if you heard, but I’m running for Governor against Ron DeSantis.

This campaign is still in its early stages and we’re counting on grassroots supporters like you to help us grow. Will you donate $5?

It’s no secret that Florida has been a challenge for Democrats. In order to be successful, we must build a coalition of voters from all races, ethnicities, and religious affiliations.

Throughout my career, I’ve demonstrated an ability to build these coalitions and I’ve won twice in a heavily Republican district. As the first ever Latina Democrat to serve in Florida’s State Senate, I know firsthand how to mobilize Hispanic voters and bring them back into the Democratic fold.

But we can’t stop there. Winning will mean bringing together members of every community towards a shared vision for Florida.

I’ve done this throughout my career – and I’ve even won twice in a Trump district.

That’s what I will do across the state of Florida. But I can’t do it alone. Ron DeSantis has millions of dollars at this disposal, whereas my campaign is powered by grassroots activists like you.

Tomorrow, my campaign will enter a mandatory fundraising blackout, meaning we will be completely unable to bring together the necessary resources to defeat Ron Desantis. So, in order to make up for lost ground, I simply have to meet this critical goal.
