but we can't do it by selling the American people empty promises
Bennet for America
Team —

Yesterday I officially filed to be on the ballot in New Hampshire. This is a major step on the road to our victory, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of grassroots backers like you, friend.

While there, I spoke with the top TV station, WMUR, about why I’m the candidate who can beat Donald Trump. Here’s what I said:

For starters: I’m the only person in this race who has won two federal races in a purple battleground state.

That’s exactly why I’m concerned about the Democratic Party’s lurch to a set of policies that are good for raising money on the internet, but are never going to happen.

I won’t spend the next 10 years fighting a losing battle for Medicare for All when we need to have an economy that actually works for everybody in America.

Team, this campaign is about the vast majority of voters who are looking for a compelling and unifying vision for our future. If you’re ready to create real solutions, not empty promises, join me and this campaign today! >>

The truth is that we never should have lost to Trump in 2016.

If we set ourselves up in a position where the agenda we’re pursuing is not one that unifies the American people, but creates further division in the country, we know Trump will win.

I think Warren and Sanders’ Medicare for All plan is unpassable.

They’re proposing that Democrats run on a platform that only one-third of Democrats support, much less those we need to win back to beat Trump.

I think that’s a big mistake.

We will win this election the same way we always have: by presenting a compelling and unifying vision for the future. Will you join me today, friend? >>

I’m better situated than all of my competitors to beat Trump and lead our country.

I’ve worked at the local level as superintendent of the Denver public school system – my budget was three times bigger than Buttigieg’s city budget.

I’ve also spent 10 years in the Senate, representing a state that’s only one-third Democrat, spearheading some of the most important bipartisan discussions that we have had – on immigration, on health care, and on education.

I’ve been at the center of all of those battles, friend.

We’re announcing endorsements and expanding our operation in New Hampshire because I’m going to be in this until the very end.

So if you care about solutions, not slogans, will you join me in supporting my campaign? Our average online gift has been $29, but any amount will help fuel this campaign to victory! >>
