Friend, have you heard about our January 12th deadline?
That’s the filing deadline for each Maryland gubernatorial campaign’s contribution data. Once we submit it, every candidate’s finances will go public.
What does that mean for us?
It means that, however, we only have until 11:59 PM on Wednesday until we are legally required to close the books and turn in our numbers for everyone – yes everyone – to see. From reporters, to our opponents, to Marylanders just starting to tune in to this race, everyone will be looking at how much we raise as a sign of our campaign strength.
That’s why we’re emailing you today — it’s critical that we secure the funds needed to put up a good showing on January 12th… which is coming up fast.
