In 2018, I defeated a four-term Republican incumbent and became the youngest Black woman ever elected to Congress.

Then in 2020, I narrowly won re-election in one of the closest congressional races in the country. My Republican opponent dragged a costly recount process out for as long as he could – but we refused to back down.

Now, I’m one of national Republicans’ top targets for 2022. I’m widely seen as one of the most vulnerable Democrats heading into the midterm elections, and I’ll face a mountain of outside spending.
