Friend —

Every month leading up to next November is a critical opportunity to help Democrats across the country mobilize voters, organize supporters, and fundraise grassroots dollars.

And among my top priorities — including historic investments in childcare, clean energy, voting rights and more — is protecting and expanding our slim Democratic majorities in the House and Senate in the midterm elections.

Can you spare just a minute or two to tell me your priorities? With so much on the line in 2022, I need to make sure the people who elected me and Democrats across the country have their voices heard. It’s important to me.

As soon as President Biden set foot in the White House, the GOP started working to reclaim control of the House and the Senate in 2022. They’re raising record-breaking amounts of cash, thanks to their billionaire and dark-money donors, to oust Democrats in key battleground races.

We can’t let them win.

If we want to continue passing meaningful legislation — like the expanded Child Tax Credit, investments in clean energy infrastructure, and protecting federal voting rights from the scourge of state voter suppression legislation — we need to elect more Democrats to the House and the Senate.

With the Senate split 50-50, Mitch McConnell can still rule from the minority and block meaningful attempts at reform such as abolishing the filibuster, expanding the Supreme Court, and codifying Roe v. Wade.

That’s why I’m doing everything I can to help elect new and incumbent Democrats to the Senate. If we’re going to keep our country on the path to progress, we need to keep the Senate gavel out of Mitch McConnell’s hands.

That’s not to mention the battleground House races here in Minnesota and across the country we’ll need to defend to keep our House majority too.

Now that you know my top priorities for the year — I would be so thankful if you would share your top priorities for the year.

Can you spare a minute or two to take my January priorities survey? Any feedback you’re willing to share is incredibly valuable to me.

Thank you for your support.
