Social media is entering a turbulent new era as private companies with progressive agendas seem to be censoring speech and manipulating information.

Now, lawmakers in Washington D.C., and in state legislatures across the country are questioning whether there should be further laws regulating these platforms or stripping them entirely of the special protections they currently enjoy.

Any type of government action would greatly impact how we get information and interact with each other online.
