Victoria Embankment/Old Market Square
The Annual Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving will take place at the War Memorial on Sunday 10 November, starting at 10.45am with the silence at 11am.
There will also be a projection of cascading poppies onto the War Memorial with an opportunity to remember the city and county's fallen between 4 and 8pm.
Members of the public are welcome to attend all events.
The city will also be marking Armistice Day on Monday 11 November

Green's Windmill 1pm – 4pm
There will be a varied selection of stalls to browse and tours of the windmill at 1pm, 2pm or 3pm, take in the breath-taking views across Nottingham – remember to bring the camera!
There will also be home-made pizza fresh off the community garden pizza oven.
Entry to the Autumn Fayre is FREE. Tours are £3 for adults and £2 for children. Small charge for refreshments.

OPENS ONE WEEK ON FRIDAY! Step into Christmas and into one of the largest Christmas markets in the UK. Browse over 70 wooden chalet market stalls and find that perfect gift. While you are shopping, treat yourself to delicious homemade pretzels and Gluhwein plus other festive treats on offer. New for this year will be a enlarged 1100 square metre ice rink – making it the largest in the East Midlands and including a dedicated children’s area. Uniquely shaped, with an ice path encircling the Old Market Square fountains.
Returning, will be the ever-popular après ski bar Sur La Piste where people can enjoy hot mulled wine and other food and drink in cosy surroundings. The Altitude glass lounge bar will also be back giving people the opportunity to relax with a cocktail while enjoying the panoramic views of the city in all its festive splendour. The popular Ice Bar has had a makeover too, with an Alpine theme.
