Join us as we start the 2022 year off with our Guest Speaker, Samuel Sukaton, EnviroVoters' Redistricting Coordinator. This January Meeting we will be discussing redistricting and the impacts these new districts will have on Orange County politics! 

Samuel encourages state and municipal redistricters to draw fair lines and ensures that California's environmental justice majority is represented in the electoral districts of the 2030s. To this end, he organizes EnviroVoters' work before the California Citizens Redistricting Commission and EnviroVoters' redistricting work in partnership with other groups, public officials, and consultants. 

Born in Pennsylvania and raised in San Bernardino, Samuel holds a BA in history from UCLA. He also enjoys to write and play songs on his saxophone, sings, and is an historian and American vernacular dancer. 

We are excited to have him and all of our members join us this Wednesday, January 12.
