Since our launch in 2017, the team here at the NDRC -- fueled by donations from supporters like you -- has been working tirelessly to protect our democracy. And the good news is that during phase 1 of our long-term plan, we made some BIG headway in the fight for fair maps:
- We helped flip 10 governor’s offices to blue.
- We helped break nine Republican trifectas in state governments.
- We mobilized our community to help pass bipartisan redistricting reform in 5 states.
But believe us when we say NONE of those accomplishments would have been possible without your support. And the fight isn’t over yet, which is why we need you to pitch in anything you can today to help us keep pushing for fair maps and voting rights in 2022!
Because despite all the progress we’ve made, there’s still a ton of work left to do to defend our democracy. Now that we’re in phase 2 of our plan, we’re working every single day to:
- Fight back against GOP voter suppression in the states.
- Boost federal redistricting and voting rights reforms in Congress.
- Support voters in lawsuits when necessary.
- Win FAIR maps in the states that have yet to adopt new ones.
