Folks,

The Republican Party takes control of the House of Delegates in just four days but we don’t have to wait until then to see what they have planned for the future of democracy in our Commonwealth.

Every major piece of legislation that the Democratic majority passed to expand the right to vote already has a bill filed by the new Republican majority aiming to repeal it: Voter ID, restricting early voting days, getting rid of dropbox locations, and ending no-excuse absentee voting.

Since these bills have become law in Virginia, we have seen record turnout among both parties, but there is reason to this Republican rhyme - while expanding the right to vote helps both parties, voter suppression only helps one.

This is the gambit they’re running to take and hold power across the country, and Youngkin and his new majority are bringing it here to Virginia. Can we count on you to stand with us against voter suppression? Chip in to stand up against these undemocratic tactics.
