Country over party.

That's been my guiding principle since I first entered politics. I wanted to bring common sense values back to Washington, and fight for the issues that really matter.

Unfortunately, that's not the direction our political climate is going. Too many people in Washington care more about party loyalty, news-grabbing headlines, and getting "wins" against the other side. Political extremism has made us lose sight of what really matters.

I might not be running for Congress this year, but I'm just as committed to bringing common sense values back to Washington.

That's why I launched the Join Together for America PAC this week. We're dedicated to electing leaders up and down the ballot who will put their constituents over political agendas, and patriotism over ego.
