John,
On February 18th, federal funding will expire, threatening to shut down our government and defund critical programs for families in the middle of the winter.
Already last year, Congress passed multiple "continuing resolutions," which continued Trump-era spending levels―underfunding essential services for the most vulnerable including nutrition, health care, housing, heating and more.
In order to break a Republican filibuster, we need at least 10 Republican senators to buck Mitch McConnell and allow federal spending that reflects the new challenges faced by the American people.
Help fund a critical call campaign to drive thousands of calls into Republican Senate offices! They need to hear directly from their constituents, demanding expanded funding on everything from low income nutrition and heating programs, to veterans’ health care, to strengthening our schools and more!
Donate $5 today and help us raise at least $3,000 this weekend to launch the call campaign!

John,
Even with Democrats in control of both bodies of Congress and the White House, federal spending continues to reflect Trump-era spending levels. This failure to fund the right priorities is directly hurting our communities―particularly those most in need.
The current temporary funding will run out on February 18th. We need full-year funding to meet our current needs, from education to public health to environmental protection. That can’t be enacted with just 50 Democratic votes in the Senate. We need at least 10 Republican senators to break with Mitch McConnell and agree to vote to fund the services their states need.
Thankfully, there are plenty of issues that impact red and blue states alike, from the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program to keep people safe and warm during the winter, to veterans’ health care, to strengthening our schools, to combating the opioid epidemic and more.
To get at least 10 Republican senators on board, we need to drive thousands of calls into Republican Senate offices. But before we launch our call campaign, we need to ensure it’s fully funded.
Donate $5 to help launch a critical call campaign to demand Republican senators allow federal spending that reflects new challenges faced by the American people. To effectively launch this campaign and fight for funding that reflects our values, we need to raise at least $3,000 this weekend. Rush a contribution today!

Senators pay attention to the calls coming into their offices and what issues their constituents are demanding action on. So, if each Republican senator is receiving hundreds of calls each day, demanding they vote to fund low income nutrition and heating programs, public health, housing, consumer protections and more, this will give them the resolve they need to push back against Mitch McConnell’s obstruction and vote with their constituents.
Not acting to pass a full year of funding to meet our current needs is reckless and irresponsible.
Pitch in today to fund our critical call campaign to Republican Senate offices to get at least 10 Republican senators to break with Mitch McConnell, keep our government running, and invest in our families and communities.
