Tell the EPA to Cut Methane Emissions

Methane has 80 times more heat-trapping power than carbon dioxide, making it the second-largest contributor to climate change. And the oil and gas industry is leaking millions of tons of it into our air every year. But the EPA’s proposal to reduce methane emissions from oil and gas operations is simply not strong enough—we need regular inspections on smaller facilities and a ban on routine flaring from oil and gas rigs, among other things. Tell EPA administrator Michael Regan to strengthen the proposal and help protect our climate.
