This week, CIJA called on the Canadian government to cut funding to the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) due to its ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) – designated under Canadian law as a terrorist entity. Canada provides millions of tax-payer dollars to the UAWC via a project run by the United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization.
