Dear Friend,
In 2021 we saw a tidal wave of Jim Crow 2.0 tactics, from threats against election workers to election sabotage efforts at the local level to the more than 580 anti-voter bills that were introduced in almost every state legislature across the country.
Yet in the face of these challenges, together we have also achieved a number of victories for voters in the last year—and we want to share just a few of them with you, Friend.
With your support, Fair Fight Action continues our mission of advancing a multi-racial, multi-generational democracy where every eligible voter is able to cast their ballot, have their ballot counted, and make their voice heard. This has included orchestrating a first-of-its-kind Fly-In of dozens of voters from 16 states who traveled to Washington, DC to share their personal experiences encountering barriers to the ballot and demand federal action to combat voter suppression and establish national voting standards, organizing over 83,000 voter calls to Congress, and memorializing Georgia’s ongoing discrimination in voting in the Congressional Record [[link removed]] .
While advocating for federal protections for voters, alongside our allies, Fair Fight Action simultaneously supported battles at the state level in the face of more than 580 anti-voter bills nationwide. Together, we helped mitigate the harm of these anti-voter bills, including defeating provisions that would have:
*

Georgia
*

This is just the beginning of our fight for voters, Friend. Will you reinvest in our mission in 2022? [[link removed]]
