Board Positions Available!

The New York Young Republican Club is seeking applicants to fill newly vacated spots on our Board of Governors for the 2022 term.

The following positions are now available:
* Entertainment Chairman
* Finance Chairman
* House Chairman
* Policy Chairman

These new Chairmen will serve as voting members of the Club’s Board of Governors and will report directly to the Executive Committee. They will be responsible for managing and overseeing their respective committees, including managing and appointing other committee officers and members.

We are looking for individuals passionate about conservative politics with experience in each committee's specific area of interest.

Applicants must be current members of the Club in good standing and be willing to commit to attending at least one in-person Board meeting and one Club event per month.

If you are interested in applying for any of these open positions, please complete the appropriate application form below and, if you qualify, we will reach out to schedule an interview.

For the Entertainment Committee Chairman, we are looking for individuals with experience in event planning and hospitality who can commit to planning and hosting at least one event at our Clubhouse per month and work to assist the Events Committee in all their operations.

For the Finance Committee Chairman, we are looking for individuals with experience in finance, banking, accounting, investing, or related fields. The Finance Committee Chairman works directly under the Club Treasurer.

For the House Committee Chairman, we are looking for individuals with experience in property management, real estate, or office management. The ideal candidate can commit to working out of the Clubhouse on a daily basis.

For the Policy Committee Chairman, we are looking for individuals with experience in public policy, law, government, or political campaigns who can also commit to drafting a policy statement at least once a week.

** Join a Committee!

During this transformative time for the New York Young Republican Club, many of you have reached out to us asking how to get more involved with the club, and how to better support our efforts.

One effective way to do this is to join a committee. We are currently looking for Vice-Chairs for many of our committees, who will receive special discounts for working events and recognition on our website. In addition to Vice Chair positions, we are looking to build all of our committees in terms of members.

Please take a moment to review our committees here ([link removed]) and contact any committees you are interested in joining at the email address listed on the website. You are allowed to join up to 3 committees per our Bylaws.

To be a member of a committee you must be a member of the Club in Good Standing.

The New York Young Republican Club has caucuses that advocate for representation of their respective interests in the Club and Republican Party. We invite our members to become more active in our caucuses to promote Republican ideals throughout the five boroughs and beyond.

Any group of five Voting Members of the Club may petition the Board of Governors to charter a Caucus to forward ideas, advance an issue, represent a constituency, endorse candidates, or propose resolutions.
