John,

We’re coming up on the one-year anniversary of when I decided to explore a
run to represent Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate. Bear with me to get a
little sentimental here, okay? 😭

Back then, I already knew this journey wouldn’t be easy. But we knew the
campaign you, me, and supporters everywhere would build together would be
*special* + it would be *BIG*.

And WOW, did you all prove me right. Our grassroots team…

* Outraised all our primary opponents + the GOP frontrunners quarter
after quarter of 2021💛
* Has over 170,000 donors… plus an average donation of just $27 💪
* Received support from ALL 67 PA counties and over 50% of standard U.S.
codes 🇺🇸

So one year after first deciding to explore a run for U.S. Senate, let me
be real clear about where we stand. We are going to win this thing because
of people like you, John.

But back to the “this isn’t going to be easy” side of things. The fight to
flip PA’s Senate seat is going to be one of the most important races of
2022. (Maybe even the most important.)

Plus, whether we pull it off could determine whether Democrats get a 51st
vote in the Senate to pass the filibuster and clear the path to protecting
voting rights, holding insurrectionists accountable, passing a liveable
wage, ensuring weed justice, and SO much more.

[ [link removed] ]So here’s the deal. Every single grassroots donation adds up, which is
why I’m coming to you now — to see if you’ll pitch in your very first $3
and join the grassroots team that’s gearing up to flip Pennsylvania’s
Senate seat.

Look John, this journey didn’t
really start one year ago. Fighting for Pennsylvania is kiiiinda what I’ve
been doing my whole life.

You might have noticed I have the zip code 15104 tattooed on my arm.
That’s Braddock, Pennsylvania, my home and the community I was honored to
serve as mayor for 13 years. Gisele and I are raising our kids here in
Braddock, right across the street from Andrew Carnegie’s first steel mill.

After serving my community, PA voters honored me by trusting me to serve
as their Lieutenant Governor, and keep fighting like h*ll for the same
things I’ve been fighting for the past twenty years:

* Establish a living wage that is at least $15 an hour
* Pass legislation to ensure health care for all Americans as a
fundamental human right indistinguishable from housing, food, and
education
* Fight for second chances + reimagine criminal justice reform
* Combat climate change — which is a real, urgent, complicated threat
that requires immediate and coordinated action
* Legalize weed nationwide for jobs, justice, veterans, farmers, and
revenue
* Fight for the union way of life and our workers
* Protect our LGBTQIA+ communities and continue to push for equal
protections under the law

And now? I’m running for the U.S. Senate because I believe that every
community is worth fighting for. And I *promise* that I will fight for you
+ your community in the Senate as if it were my own. [ [link removed] ]So I’ll ask one
more time, John: Will you chip
in to help us keep growing the historic momentum we’ve built over the last
year?

Every bit of support that comes in today will go a long way in building
the kind of campaign we can be proud of — and one that can win. I'm so
unbelievably grateful for everything you do,
John. 🙏

We have less than a year left until this whole thing is done. Ready to
give it our all and win this thing?

John

John Fetterman
Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania
