Elected officials who attempted to subvert democracy and overturn the will of the people shouldn't be in office.
John,
The January 6, 2021 insurrection shocked the nation, terrified DC residents, and caused deep harm to the hundreds of journalists, staffers, and members of Congress who bore witness to this violent event.
Yet there has been no accountability for the Republican members of Congress who instigated the insurrection by challenging the validity of the election.
We must hold the instigators of the insurrection accountable for the harm they've caused, John.
That starts with investigating Republicans who substantiated false claims about the election and then expelling them from Congress — because elected officials who attempted to subvert democracy and overturn the will of the people shouldn't be in office.
