It shouldn’t be on you to track the impact of every step your package took on its route to you. There are already existing technologies and tactics that companies can put into place to drastically slash pollution from the last mile of delivery.
We’re setting up meetings with industry leaders to make these changes — but first, we need your help to prove American consumers are calling for action.

This weekend, the Veterans’ Day Sales will kick off the holiday shopping season — soon to be followed by Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In the flurry of orders, a single product might get transported across seas, driven cross-country, and sent to a distribution center.
Once an order is placed, it gets sent to the final destination, entering the “last mile” delivery stage.
This is the sweet spot where we can make the most improvements.
Medium- and heavy-duty vehicles — like large delivery trucks, port vehicles and buses — are projected to rival passenger vehicles as the largest source of transportation greenhouse gases by 2050. Businesses need to take action to tackle this problem before it’s too late. And there are 3 easy steps they can take:
1) Advocate for and adopt zero-emission vehicles.
2) Provide incentives for slower shipping options over overnight or expedited delivery.
3) Create local options for pickup and returns of online orders.
But in order for businesses to make these crucial changes, they need to know consumers — like you — are demanding it.
Take action today and join the movement calling on businesses to clean up delivery!
