Important update —

Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee just advanced Steven Menashi’s nomination to a lifetime appointment on the federal courts in spite of his refusal to answer questions about his involvement in Donald Trump’s campaign to extort Ukraine for political purposes.

Menashi is currently a White House lawyer, and he refuses to tell us if he was one of the lawyers who helped hide the truth about Trump’s conversation with the Ukrainian president — the conversation that’s now at the center of the impeachment discussions. When Senate Democrats asked Menashi what he knew about Trump's phone call or the whistleblower complaint, he ignored their questions, so the American people have no way of knowing if he was complicit in Trump’s quid pro quo.

Steven Menashi is just a Senate vote away from a lifetime appointment to the federal bench. Call your Senators and tell them to vote against Steven Menashi, because lawyers who cover up impeachable offenses are not qualified to become federal judges: 202-224-3121.

The Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee may have fallen in line to support Trump’s nominee, but together we can still stop Menashi.
