The national media coverage on the anniversary of January 6 was as shallow as a small creek during a drought.
Liberal media spreads the Democrat Party version and conservative media spreads the Republican Party version of the the January 6 protest. Neither spreads what matters—
What matters is “the people’s view of Jan 6.”
“The people,” i.e. us Americans, view the Jan 6 protest, not as a protest against politics, but rather as a protest against our government. An understandable protest against the mis-government of our great country’s well being.
Jan 6 was a protest (one that got out of hand) against our government having abandoned the rule of law, in general, and the Constitution, in particular. A protest against election practices, which do not ensure fair elections, but rather make our elections vulnerable to fraud.
The Jan 6 protest was a protest against the exact behavior that both the politicians and the media illustrated again today. The Jan 6 protest was an unheeded warning that “Americans are as mad as hell and they are not going to take much more.”
Americans understand that the two political parties’ leaders care more about their political parties than they do about America. These same politicians need to understand that Americans care much more about America than they do about any political party.
