John,
Throughout my career – from federal law enforcement to the CIA to the House – national security has been a throughline uniting each role I’ve held. In an increasingly digital age, our ability to track, understand, and measure cybercrime is of paramount importance.
That’s why I’m working so hard to take meaningful action to fight cybercrime. Recent reporting shows incidents of cybercrime are rising at an alarming rate, spurred on by scams related to the pandemic, and our current system is far from effective in combating this pattern.
I’ve devoted my time in Congress to delivering impactful results for Virginia and beyond, and I need your support to continue that mission. Will you support our campaign by making a contribution?

A Gallup poll found in 2018 that 1 in 4 American households were the victim of cybercrime – making it the most common crime in the U.S. With a more effective system to track, analyze, and prosecute cybercrime, our government could prevent cyberattacks that have and will continue to take a toll on our country.
I’m proud to be spearheading efforts to improve how our government combats cybercrime, and your support ensures I can continue my work in Congress. Will you contribute what you can today?

With appreciation,
Abigail
