That’s why Donald Trump gave Ted Budd his “complete and total endorsement” and recently held a fundraiser for him at Mar-a-Lago — no doubt raking in tons of max-out checks from Trump’s wealthy friends and special interest donors.

It’s clear that Trump and his allies are willing to spend and say whatever it takes to try to send their hand-picked candidate to the Senate. So it is up to all of us to stop them.
