We know you've been busy these past couple of weeks so we wanted to make sure you saw the big news that happened over the holidays.
Congressional maps were finalized and they show that CA-27 (our new district number!) will be one of the Democrats' best chances in the entire country at flipping a district from red to blue.
What party controls congress could very well be decided by this district. And, as Republicans like Mike Garcia are out there still parroting Trump's Big Lie, constantly attacking voting and reproductive rights, and outrageously fanning flames of COVID-19 conspiracy theories, it is clear that who we elect matters.
In 2020, the margin of victory in this district was just 333 votes and, with the new maps, our odds are even better.
While Democrats in districts across the country face an uphill battle, our district has a historic opportunity to flip this seat, and help hold Democratic control of the House. We can do it, but it will take all of us showing up and getting to work right now. It's an election year and we have no time to lose.
