“Harassment is never right no matter where you are in the world and this is a very powerful training that transcends nationalities and countries,” said Longoria. “The fact that we’ve all experienced harassment bonds us together as sisters throughout the world and that to me is so powerful, to build this sisterhood through this training because now we know how to stand up for each other,” she added during the training.

For Emily May, the intention is also to understand that “if we have a culture where street harassment isn’t ok then it starts to build a culture where other forms of assault and violence aren’t ok either.”

It is inspiring to see that together we can make a difference and contribute to building a world where everyone has the right to be who they are. Our "Stand Up Against Street Harassment" program in partnership with L'Oréal Paris is a simple but powerful tool to make a change.
