[1]Cori Bush

John,

Last year, only three days after Cori was sworn into office, white
supremacists attacked the Capitol in a deadly insurrection.

Cori immediately got to work to hold Republican Members of Congress who
incited the attempted coup and tried to overturn the results of the 2020
election accountable. In fact, Cori's very first piece of legislation
called for the expulsion of Republican insurrectionists from office.

GOP endorsers of white supremacy must face consequences for their actions.
Yet in the last year, we've seen Republicans try to downplay and spread
disinformation about the January 6 insurrection again and again. And
still, Cori's resolution has not been voted on by the House of
Representatives.

It's time to pass this legislation and remove Republicans who attempted to
overturn the 2020 election results and incited the terror attack on the
Capitol from office.

We need to raise our voices together to call on Congress to take action.

and expel the Republicans who took part in the deadly insurrection now?

The January 6 attack was about much more than the results of the 2020
election, it was a racist attempt to invalidate the voices of Black,
brown, and Indigenous folks. It was an effort by Members of Congress to
further white supremacy.

And still today, these members walk the halls of Congress putting the
lives of their colleagues, staffers, and employees at risk. These same
members harass Cori, refuse to follow Covid precautions, and bring weapons
onto the House floor. We must ensure these endorsers of white supremacy
aren't allowed to continue serving in our government.

By refusing to act, we send a message that this white supremacist violence
is acceptable in our country and every would-be insurrectionist has the
green light to try again.

[ [link removed] ]The more support we have, the more support we'll be able to build so we
can hold these Republican Members of Congress accountable. Please, add
your name right now to support Cori's resolution.

In solidarity,

Team Cori
