Hadestown, starring Tony Award winner André De Shieldsintertwines two mythic tales—that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone—as it invites you on a journey to the underworld and back.

Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan returns to Broadway with the second of his two exhilarating dramas celebrating Lyndon B. Johnson’s legacy: The Great Society. Director Bill Rauch (All The Way) reunites with Schenkkan for this new companion piece to Schenkkan’s Tony Award-winning All The Way, depicting the tumultuous times that led to the conclusion of the Johnson presidency in 1968.
