Here at Team Booker, we believe birthdays are a reason to celebrate and a
time to think about the kind of future we want to see as we embark on

A future where our politicians prioritize people over profits, care about
how many of us are struggling to make ends, and understand the challenges
so many working families face today.
This future is possible if we put in the hard work this year to replace
Rand Paul and end this chapter of disastrous leadership in Kentucky. So,
in honor of Rand Paul’s 59th birthday we’ve set a goal to raise $5,900 by
midnight tonight to power our grassroots campaign and make sure we send
Charles to the U.S. Senate this year.

Here’s the bottom line: Kentucky can’t afford
another six years of Rand Paul.
That’s six more years of spreading conspiracy theories and lies that
undermine our democracy. Six more years of holding up legislation like the
9/11 Victims Compensation Fund and the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act. Six
more years of using his elected office to trade stocks using insider
knowledge.
Now that he’s officially announced that he’s running for yet another term
— things are getting more and more serious. The 11 years Rand Paul has
spent ignoring Kentuckians and our needs could just as easily turn into 18
years if we don’t organize, starting right now.
And the reason we have to start now is because Kentucky has one of the
worst records of voter disenfranchisement in our country’s history.
Because of this, failed leaders like Rand have been able to stay in
office. We need to counter this with a mountain of organizing and
grassroots fundraising — because Kentucky deserves so much better than
Rand Paul.
