Team, I wouldn't ask if it weren't important. Everything we do from now through the 12th is a matter of extreme importance — a strong showing on our first public filing means we can continue to build this campaign's forward momentum and get one step closer to sending an experienced, driven leader like Tom to Annapolis to fight for Marylanders.

Tom will often say he's from the school of "Get Sh*t Done" — and he's right. He's spent his entire career working for a more equitable, fair, and just future. From his time as a civil rights attorney prosecuting high profile cases of police brutality, to his time as the first Latino president of the Montgomery County Council fighting for affordable housing, to serving as Maryland's Labor secretary where he helped pass the nation's first living wage law, Tom Gets Sh*t Done.

We have an opportunity to send Tom to Annapolis to reform executive leadership in Maryland and seize a once-in-a-generation opportunity to ensure that our government works for Maryland families — but we can't seize that opportunity without the resources to get there.
