Team, I am so proud to have played a huge role in passing this bill through committee in the House last year. This legislation will continue lifting children out of poverty, set kids up for success with universal pre-k, increase affordable homeownership for generational stability, make huge investments in tackling climate change, and so much more.
We can’t repeat the failures of the past by not letting the American people know what this bill will do for them. That’s why my team and I are out there talking about how this bill will uplift so many working families – but continuing our efforts is going to take resources.
