Join us Tuesday evening for a live discussion about the plan to protect our democracy with Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Dear MoveOn member,

Democracy is on the line—and on the ballot—in 2022.

As we continue to fight for voting rights and to protect our elections in Congress now, we also look ahead to the stakes of the 2022 elections: Abortion rights, voting rights, LGBTQ rights, consumer rights, and so much more depend on our ability to elect principled, tenacious Democrats and hold and expand our majorities in the House and Senate.

That's why I'm joining Senator Elizabeth Warren and our allies at Demand Justice this coming Tuesday for a live, half-hour discussion: "The Plan to Protect Our Democracy."

Click here to RSVP and join the livestream, Tuesday, January 11, at 8 p.m. ET/7 CT/6 MT/5 PT.

We're seeing the attacks on our democracy from right-wing extremists—from the violence one year ago at the Capitol and the legislative attacks in dozens of Republican-controlled states to the ability of the minority party in Washington to abuse the Jim Crow filibuster to stall any progress on widely popular and essential bills to the Republican-packed Supreme Court's willingness to undermine our rights.1

In Congress and in the states, we'll continue to fight these attacks and, at the same time, prepare for November 2022, when we can elect candidates to the House and Senate who are champions of voting rights and protecting our democracy, and who are willing to abolish the tools that have entrenched minority rule. One such reform: expanding and rebalancing the Supreme Court, which has been taken over by Trump appointees and right-wing power grabs.

If we want to protect and expand abortion rights and voting rights, make progress on gun violence and climate change, respect our LGBTQ community members as equals, and preserve laws that protect our workers, we need a Senate that is ready to legislate boldly, confirm President Biden's nominees, and rebalance a Supreme Court that has become a partisan vehicle out of step with the needs and will of the American people.

This is some of what I'll have the chance to discuss this coming Tuesday as we hear from Elizabeth Warren—who just recently added her voice to the fight to expand and rebalance the Supreme Court—and Demand Justice, an organization that's been a leader against right-wing power grabs aimed at our judicial system.

Join us on Tuesday as we discuss the stakes in November, the actions we can take this year, and how you can take part. Click here to RSVP.

Thanks for all you do.
