This week we sent a message to the NRA in their own backyard.

Despite the NRA's lobbyists, money, and influence we were able to fight back with your help and flip both the Virginia Senate and House of Delegates!

The progress that gun safety advocates made in Virginia is historic, but it also didn't happen overnight.

It's a testament to years of work by survivors who lost so much and vowed to save others from the same trauma. It proves that fighting for what's right is a winning strategy. It shows that we can -- and must -- hold corrupt politicians accountable.

But Virginia is just the first step, in 2020 we will see this trend continue, because gun safety is a winning issue.

That's why today we're asking you to chip in $3 to help us keep this momentum going. We plan to take lessons we learned this year and apply them to states across the country in 2020!

The gun safety champions who were elected this week are not afraid of the challenges to come.

They will be fearless, they will persist, and they are committed in the fight to save lives.

Now, it's up to us to elect more leaders from coast to coast so we can defeat the NRA and pass laws that will make our communities safer from gun violence.
