While my potential opponent, Herschel Walker (R), is busy aligning himself with Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell, I'm working in the Senate to deliver on our progressive priorities – from economic justice to voting rights. But with the election year officially upon us, experts at POLITICO say that Democrats' chances of defending our razor-thin majority hinge on keeping Georgia blue.

A new poll shows me neck and neck with Walker – but while he's relying on GOP megadonors to try to buy this seat, I'm proud to be running a people-powered campaign that depends on grassroots support. Unfortunately, with time running out before our critical membership deadline, we're falling short of our 2022 Founding Donor goal.

That's why I'm personally reaching out to you today, friend. As a kid who grew up in public housing, I know what it's like to be counted out before you even get started. But through hard work and the support of my family and community, I graduated from college and went on to become the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church. Now, I'm fighting in the Senate to make sure every child can achieve their American dream.
