When our organization launched last year, we had a simple idea but big hopes -- that When We All Vote, we can change the world.
We believed then -- and we still believe today -- that we can change the conversation around voting in our country by meeting people where they are in our communities.
Last year, we went big. Thousands of you showed up and registered friends, family, and neighbors. Because of you, millions of new voters made their voices heard for the first time. And we couldn’t have done any of it without you.
Our mission is to register as many voters as we can and get them to the polls. And that mission is more important than ever. So today, I’m enlisting a few of my friends to join my Voting Squad -- and I’m calling on you to squad up in your community, too.
We made huge strides in voter turnout, especially among young people, in 2018. But we know there’s still so much work to do with less than a year left before the elections in 2020.
