As Greta Thunberg said, “Blah blah blah.” In this case, however, I’m not talking about climate. I’m talking about our ruling elite’s empty talk about January 6.

Trump and his cronies tried to steal the election, and his supporters stormed the Capitol. Yet one year later, Trump still hasn’t faced any consequences. Why? Democratic leaders in Congress let him get away with it. Sure, the January 6 Commission is better than nothing, but it’s not real consequences.

What Democratic leaders should have done was impeach Trump immediately: the day after the attack.

Instead they’re posting indignant tweets and waxing poetic on cable news. They’re refusing to protect our democracy by getting rid of the filibuster and passing voting rights legislation.

I recognize the threat to our democracy, because I’ve been doxxed and received death threats from far right-wingers. I’m fighting to protect our democracy, because the threat is real. Please rush a donation now to help me win, so I can fight for our democracy in Congress.
