As promised, although I suspended my campaign, I haven’t abandoned my passion for this country, our country, nor will I stop fighting to make sure we elect leaders who understand the gift of democracy, the need to come together, to work together, for the good of the people, not for the media spotlight of individual politicians. And in that spirit, today, I have launched Join Together for America with the goal to support candidates up and down the ballot who believe in these unifying principles.

Today is the anniversary of an insurrection led by Donald Trump. It's absolutely apparent that we can no longer take our democracy for granted, and that we must actively fight for its survival. As citizens of this great nation, we must be clear-eyed and focused on holding those accountable who have been complicit in what occurred.

Providing accountability for those who inspired an insurrection isn’t just about retribution, but about ensuring that the unprecedented violence and mayhem that happened on January 6th doesn’t happen again.  If the elected officials who inspired the violence on our Capitol are able to walk away from this without any repercussions, nothing will prevent them, and other wannabe fascists like them, from fueling more violence in the future with similar lies about a stolen election.

Now is the time to stay vigilant, hold these traitors accountable, and fight for our democracy. Our Republic is far more divided than most are willing to acknowledge. We have a lot of work to do together.

Our country needs true patriots now more than ever. People who are willing to put their country above their party and their political future. We need brave leaders who will stand with Lady Liberty and strive every day for a more perfect union. With Join Together for America, we will elect these leaders.
