Election objectors are among the GOP’s highest fundraisers ahead of Jan. 6 anniversary
 
 

On Jan. 6, 2021, 147 Republican members of Congress voted to object to the Electoral College vote count that certified President Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election. A year later, many of the House members who objected to certifying the 2020 election are top GOP fundraisers.

It's not surprising that business PACs have resumed giving to objectors, says Sheila Krumholz, executive director of OpenSecrets.
