Ron Johnson would rather serve seditionists than his own constituents.
Team,
On January 6th, 2021, an armed, pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol building in an attempt to stop the certification of the 2020 election. Multiple civilians and capitol police officers were injured and died in the violence that took place that day.
In the lead up to January 6th, Ron Johnson stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Donald Trump – amplifying his lies about voter fraud and repeating his claims that Joe Biden had “stolen” the election. Ultimately, his willingness to act as a mouthpiece for Trump’s Big Lie radicalized hundreds of thousands of Americans and laid the groundwork for the violence that our nation watched unfold that day.
Actions have consequences. Words have meaning. And during his time in the U.S. Senate, Ron Johnson has demonstrated that he would rather use his position to serve seditionists than his own constituents.

It wasn’t just Ron Johnson’s role in the lead up to the insurrection that was damning: After voting to acquit Donald Trump of all impeachment charges, he hit the DC media circuit and told Fox News that the capitol mob was “by and large a peaceful protest” attended by “patriots” who just “love this country.”
No matter how many attempts Ron Johnson makes to downplay, dismiss, and disregard the facts of that day, Wisconsinites know the truth – and we refuse to let him rewrite history to protect himself and others who played a role in inspiring the insurrection.
