Follow on Social ‌ ‌ ‌ President's Message Happy New Year! NASN is once again working on a school nurse workforce study. This study is incredibly important to help policymakers understand what school nurses do. Later this month, the survey will be sent to a nationally representative sample of schools throughout the U.S. Not everyone will get a copy of the survey. However, if you do not receive a copy, please check with your main offices to see if your school received the letter and if it got re-routed to an administrator in your school. Surveys should be completed by the school nurse. We appreciate you taking part in the survey and look forward to sharing the results with you later this year. In addition, the CDC updated the Science Brief: Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in K-12 Schools and Early Care and Education Programs to include information about studies on Test to Stay strategies used in some schools. NASN supports COVID-19 testing in schools as one of several mitigation strategies against transmission of SARS-CoV-2.
