It's a sad reality but we've talked about this before: White supremacy has existed long before Trump, and it continues to thrive after his presidency. Just look at some of his puppets, like Lauren Boebert, who regularly use Islamaphobic remarks, calling white supremacists to action and threatening Muslims in Congress and elsewhere.
Another puppet? Take a look at Josh Hawley in the Senate, who joyfully raised a power fist to the white supremacists who attempted a coup on the Capitol
1 year ago today. If we were to go through all the white supremacists in Congress, this email would never end.
All this to say, we need to elect leaders dedicated to Black liberation, and over these past few years, we've collectively built the largest social justice movement
in history. We can and will use our people-power to bring our protest to the polls.
Because guess what? When legislators refuse to put the people first, we'll put ourselves first and get them out.

The stakes are always high when it comes to our communities because for too long, we've been forced to grapple with legacies of slavery and anti-black systems of oppression. But that has
never stopped us from
showing up and showing out at the polls, and letting America's racism know we're here to fight back.
But we can't do it alone. Since launching Black Lives Matter PAC, we've been on the ground in all
50 states. We're dedicated to putting an end to white supremacy, and we won't stop fighting for Black liberation.
Not only are we preparing to back different campaigns, but we have to help increase Black voter turnout, just like we did last year. All this takes a LOT of resources since we know folks have worked tirelessly to make our pathway to the ballot difficult.
No matter how hard they try, Trump and his followers will not tarnish who we are. We cannot be silenced, and we cannot be ignored. We're getting rid of those in office that undermine our values and our communities.
