Deadline approaching for the Urban Native Vote Organizer position!
Hi John,
The deadline is fast approaching to apply for the Urban Native Vote Organizer position. The Native Vote program works in tribal communities across Wisconsin to educate and register voters. Our work has led to increased voter turnout in every tribal community we’ve worked in, from six percent in Bad River to a whopping 28 percent in Red Cliff.
We plan to continue that momentum in 2022, but we need another organizer to do it. We haven't hit our applicant goals yet and need your help finding the perfect applicant.

The Urban Native Vote Organizer will build a team of volunteers and carry out activities associated with nonpartisan voter education and voter engagement. Our Native Vote organizers have hosted art and voter registration events, painted community murals, tabled at powwows, and organized community gatherings. We’re excited to bring this work to the urban Native communities in Wisconsin.
The Urban Native Vote Organizer will work primarily with urban Native communities in Milwaukee and to a limited degree in Madison. The Urban Native Vote Organizer will work with the Ho-Chunk, Oneida, Potawatomi and other tribes when appropriate. The position can be full time or part time and is temporary through November 2022.
Time is running out and we need your help. Can you take a minute to share this job opening with five friends or organizations you know? [[link removed]]
By bringing on an Urban Native Vote Organizer, we will build on the success of the Native Vote program and continue to make sure that the voices of Indigenous people in Wisconsin have a meaningful place in tribal and state politics.
