Jack, we can’t believe it was only one year ago today that our democracy underwent a colossal test – withstanding the January 6 insurrection on our nation’s Capitol. It’s time to withstand these attacks on democracy by contributing $35 or whatever you can give to help us build out our field program for 2022.

Since the insurrection, our democracy continues to be tested. Ever since President Biden was sworn into office, the extremist GOP legislature right here in Raleigh has ramped up radical efforts to silence voters by:
- Drawing unfair maps – like splitting Congresswoman Kathy Manning’s district three-ways.
- Appointing a new state representative who admitted publicly to participating in the insurrection – Donnie Loftis (NC HD-109).
- Attempting to pass disastrous anti-voter legislation that reeked of Jim Crow.
One thing is very clear to us: January 6 was a near-miss, and we have a lot of work to do. In many ways, we’ve all been changed forever – we’ve become more resilient and more committed to our values than ever before, but our democracy remains under attack.
Thank you for standing strong with us in this work we’re doing. Make a contribution of $35 or whatever you can give today to ensure our democracy remains standing strong, too.

Nearly 1 million voters of color eligible to vote did not vote in 2022. This work matters. There are thousands of voices – a wealth of untapped power – in Native communities right here in North Carolina. It’s time to stand together and rise up.
Please help us reach our $2,000 goal in the next 48 hours so we can get the supplies we need to protect our fundamental right to vote in the communities that need that fundamental right to vote the most.
