to protect the Senate filibuster as Ron Paul urged in Tuesday's email, it's never been more urgent that you do so right away.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has promised to take a vote to gut the filibuster by Martin Luther
King Day (11 days from today), and "compromise" deals have already been proposed to get the last two Democrats on board – which would
lead to an immediate and unprecedented trampling of the U.S. Constitution, including our civil liberties and state sovereignty.
One "compromise" being floated is to only allow the filibuster if senators actually held the floor and
talked endlessly for hours and days on end, which we know most Senate Republicans lack the commitment to do.
If
Democrats gut the filibuster, every radical piece of legislation, from The Great Reset to the Green New Deal, from Universal Gun Registration to
National Election Fraud, will be passed into law.
This really is one of the most important
battles of the year. Everything is on the line.

Democrats in Congress are planning to use the “Big Lie” – that January 6th was an
“insurrection” – in a renewed attempt to tear down the only roadblock preventing them from passing the entirety of their radical
agenda: the Senate filibuster.
The filibuster, which essentially requires bills to have the
support of at least 60 senators to pass, is the only thing preventing the most radical items on the Democrats’ tyrannical agenda from becoming
law of the land:
>> “Domestic terrorism” legislation to escalate their war on the American public
>> A national gun tax and confiscation scheme
>> The “Green New Deal”
>> A “national voting rights” act to gut election integrity laws in all 50 states
According to reports, Democrats are going to spend a full week browbeating their two holdouts, Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) and Joe Manchin (D-WV).
Their argument will go like this: “We need to gut the filibuster, so we can overrule election integrity laws in all 50 states, which will prevent another January 6.”
It’s complete gibberish, but that’s exactly what Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) told the Democrats in a letter yesterday, when he wrote: “The Senate must advance systemic democracy reforms to repair our republic or else the events of that day will not be an aberration — they will be the new norm.”
If Sinema and Manchin haven’t caved by the end of the week, Schumer will exhume the corpse of Martin Luther King, Jr. and use the memory of the great civil rights leader to browbeat them some more.
Congress was not designed by our founders to be a simple rubber stamp for the controlling party’s most radical agenda.
By completely stripping away the filibuster, which is already weakened, we’re likely to see wild and dangerous swings from our lawmakers and many unintended consequences that I suspect the Democrats will regret just a few years from now.
Patriot, we need to save our Republic from turning into a complete tyranny of the majority party.

We need you to sign this petition especially if your senators are Democrats.
They need to know the American people are not fooled by their rhetorical gibberish and see this for the naked power grab that it is.
We need you to sign this petition even if your senators are Republicans.
They, too, need to know the American people are watching and will not stand by this power grab – because should they retake the majority, they will one day face the same temptation.

The Senate filibuster has been an indispensable tool in stopping some of the worst big government power grabs over the years, including Cap and Tax, which would have driven energy costs through the roof, a National Gun Registration, and the so-called “Disclose” Act, which would have destroyed free speech for organizations like ours.
If the Democrats’ plan succeeds, there is nothing stopping them from passing any of their most radical legislation – and they will pass all of it.

They simply can’t help themselves when presented a flurry of leftist expansions to big government that will create a lot of hardship … for everyone else!

I shudder to think about what else the left may cook up this year to ram through with nothing standing in their way.
