A year ago today, insurrectionists stormed our Capitol in a deadly riot attempting to overturn an election.

January 6th, 2021 served as a stark reminder of just how fragile our democracy can be when elected officials act in bad faith, spew conspiracy theories, and shirk their duty to protect the very thing that holds our country together – the will of the people.

Now, a year later, we’re still working to undo the damage of Trump’s Big Lie — and stopping other dangerous conspiracy theorists will play a huge role in protecting our democracy.

My opponents, Teddy Daniels and Jim Bognet, are radical, far-right extremists. They would use our community’s seat in Congress to push the same kind of conspiracy theories that lead to the January 6th insurrection.
