John,
One year ago today, a violent pro-Trump mob stormed our nation's Capitol building as Kim and her colleagues met to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election.
January 6, 2021 will be remembered as one of the darkest days for our nation's democracy, but it didn't occur in a vacuum. For months leading up to the attack, Donald Trump and his allies peddled baseless claims that the election was rigged.
And even after we saw the dangerous consequences of these falsehoods, Kim's Republican opponents are still amplifying Trump's “Big Lie!”
One of Kim's opponents wouldn’t say whether President Joe Biden’s win over Donald Trump was legitimate. Another baselessly claimed "absolutely there was fraud in this election and that should be investigated."
It has been shown time and again that the 2020 presidential election was free and fair. Kim's opponents' refusal to reject the "Big Lie" is dangerous and undermines our democracy. If we want to ensure an event like the January 6 Capitol insurrection never happens again, we need every Republican to take a stand against Trump's fictitious and dangerous election fraud claims.
On the first anniversary of the attack on our Capitol, add your name to call on Republicans -- including Kim's opponents -- to reject Donald Trump's unpatriotic "Big Lie" >>
