One year ago today we survived a horrific attack on our democracy.

GOP extremists, including several of my Republican colleagues, incited the worst attack on our nation’s capital in over a hundred years. Their disregard for the rule of law wasn’t just a slap in the face to everything we value as Americans—it directly endangered the police, staffers, and workers who keep the U.S. Capitol running. 

I’m still mad as hell, folks. The reality is that our democracy is still under attack. 

All of my GOP opponents are desperate for Trump’s endorsement and continue to push his lie that the 2020 election was stolen. Every single one of them is dangerous—we can't let them anywhere near the Senate.

Folks, the truth is we need to expand the Senate majority to safeguard voting rights and protect our democracy. And that starts by winning in Ohio.
