Welcome to the New Year!
It's out with the old election cycle and in with the new. We're already planning for 2022, and we've got plenty of exciting new projects lined up. From campaign trainings to new voter outreach projects, here's how MCDC is kicking off 2022.
January 6th Vigil
The first week of this new year marks the first anniversary of a dark day in our nation's history. Commemorate the events of the January 6th Insurrection and stand up for Democracy at this event co-sponsored by the MCDC Elected Officials Caucus and the League of Women Voters. Believing in a free and fair democracy should transcend any party affiliation. Come together at 6:30pm on January 6th on the steps of Morristown Town Hall to reflect on the moment.

Coalition of Grassroots Organizations (CoGro)
This is a new project from MCDC Vice Chair Robin Gurin which aims to build a space for Grassroots Organizations from across CD-7 and CD-11 to coordinate and collaborate, all while maintaining their organizational autonomy. The inaugural meeting will take place on January 11th at 7:30pm on Zoom.

MCDC University
We've added more classes to MCDC U! Now available will be a Municipal Chairs and Committees Training by our very own Tina Genest and a Neighbor to Neighbor Organizing Training with the Montclair Dems. Go to the sign up sheet to check it out!

Give $22 in '22
We want to start the year off right. MCDC is rolling out tons of new projects and initiatives, and we need your help. In the next few months, we'll be creating new digital content, mailing voters the resources to vote by mail, organizing voter registration drives, and more.
