John,

Today marks exactly one year since the deadly insurrection at our nation’s Capitol. It wasn’t a foreign nation that attacked our democracy on January 6, 2021. It was citizens of our own country, incited by a sitting president, and enabled by GOP leaders willing to play along for their own political gain.

January 6 should have been a wake-up call for every American holding public office, regardless of political affiliation. But twelve months later, Republicans across the country are still shamelessly pushing the Big Lie, including here in Minnesota.

Last month, all five GOP candidates running against Governor Walz were asked if they believed Joe Biden won the 2020 election. Not a single one could just say “yes.”

John, anyone who refuses to accept that the 2020 election was free, fair, and won by President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the highest office in our state. It’s up to us to hold the line, and we need all the help we can get.

If you’re able, will you pitch in $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you today to stop this Republican Party from retaking power? We need to raise $3,713 by EOD tomorrow to keep our January budget on track.
