No Common Sense from Manhattan DA Who Decriminalized Most Misdemeanors <[link removed]> – Alvin Bragg, the new Manhattan DA, has essentially decriminalized most misdemeanors in NYC by instituting a presumption of non-prosecution. He’s also instructing his assistants to undercharge even violent offenders. For example, armed robbers who use guns or other deadly weapons to stick up stores
and other businesses will be prosecuted only for petty larceny, a misdemeanor, provided no victims were seriously injured and there’s no “genuine risk of physical harm” to anyone. But even that doesn’t tell the whole story. He’s also instituting a presumption of non-incarceration for most cases. That means most offenders will be released on bail
back onto the streets. And that even if convicted, his office will not “seek a carceral sentence” for most crimes. Heritage Expert: Zack Smith <[link removed]>
How the Left Would Destroy Confidence in Elections <[link removed]> – It is disappointing to see Democrats reassert their push to pass federal legislation that would lead to dishonest and unfair elections and destroy public confidence in the integrity of all future elections. The claim that state reforms intended to protect voters are ‘voter suppression’ and an ‘attack on democracy’ is a lie and an attempt to con Americans into supporting deceptive and dangerous federal legislation. American voters don’t want Washington politicos telling states how to run their elections. Federal legislation that would ban all state voter ID laws, mandate reckless practices, and give unelected and unaccountable federal bureaucrats the ability to veto state election rules they don’t like would imperil free and honest elections. Transgender Activists Strategize to Overcome GOP Wins With ‘Race Class Gender
Narrative’ <[link removed]> – Transgender activists plan to combat conservative messaging and sway American sentiment on gender issues by “weaving together”
race, gender, and class in a “Race Class Gender Narrative,” according to a new report. The “Transgender Youth and the Freedom to Be Ourselves” messaging guide comes as Democratic activists scramble to counter the efforts of Republicans and conservative groups who increasingly combat liberal ideology through messaging <[link removed]> and legislation <[link removed]>.
